Since 1985, your home has been our passion. What began as a family-owned lighting specialty store in Columbus, MS started by Scott and Helen Pridmore, has grown into something much bigger—and we’re just getting started. In November 2025, we celebrate 40 years of helping people turn their spaces into something exceptional. With that milestone, we’re embracing our next chapter under a refreshed name: Uncommon Living.

Where are you located and what are your hours?

We are located at 1116 Gardner Blvd, East Columbus, Columbus, MS 39702 Our showroom hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What types of products do you offer?

We offer a broad spectrum of products, including lighting fixtures, upholstery, rugs, case goods (such as sofas, chairs, tables), and a wide array of decorative accessories like vases and pillows.

Can I purchase items directly from your showroom?

Absolutely! You can buy items off the showroom floor or special order them in a preferred fabric or color.

Do you offer customization services?

Yes – we provide customization on many upholstery lines including Rowe, Universal, CR Laine, Best, Gabby, and Summer Classics. Lead times vary depending on the manufacturer.

What delivery options are available?

We offer flat-rate delivery within the Golden Triangle area. For deliveries beyond 30 miles, pricing is quoted at the time of purchase.

Do you provide interior design and consultation services?

Yes – we offer a full interior design service, including schematic design, material selections, space planning, product sourcing, installation, and final styling
À la carte services and lighting consultations are also available, including on-site visits.
